We walked to the hospital Wednesday last, for Ellen’s chemotherapy infusion. Mike Ritchey was also with us, but he was the one who took the picture.
Ellen has achieved her goal of walking 1000 km during her chemotherapy.
We must thank Orquidea Blanco, who was, while we walked, helping us at our house, and who has been kind, dependable and a great support through all of this.
We do not know where this goes next. That will depend in large part on tests and doctor visits that will not happen until well into September.
En ti los ríos cantan y mi alma en ellos huye
como tú lo desees y hacia donde tú quieras.
Márcame mi camino en tu arco de esperanza
y soltaré en delirio mi bandada de flechas.
Dear Ellen and Luke,
I feel so happy that Ellen achieved her 1000 miles walk. This is indeed a milestone. I also feel so happy that these two, last chemo infusions have made all the difference. It’s as if my intuition is telling me that this has made a great difference. Let’s hope the nectar has killed all remaining traces of the cancer. Thank you for keeping us updated. Can’t believe that we’re already in mid-August. Awaiting to hear your good news in September. Much love to you both. Anna
