I give you this one thought to keep.
I am with you still. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on the snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone.
I am with you still in each new dawn.

And in Spanish…
No duermo. No piensen que me he ido. Estoy con ustedes en cada amanecer. Anónimo
Thank you for sharing that. I also wanted to say thank you for the celebration of life. It was beautiful and so good to see so many friends and hear those loving memories. I only knew Ellen for about 5 years…I started working at DHHS and Ellen was always so kind to me. She had such a beautiful smile and I still miss her walking down the hall humming or dancing. Miss her knitting while we were training. She will forever be someone that I look up to.
