It is very hard to imagine that it has been a year since Ellen died. But Tuesday, August 31 is the anniversary of her last day with us.
There will be a Celebration of Life in Ellen’s honor on Tuesday, August 31. For those who can attend in person, our address is 63 Mallard Point Drive in Gunnison, Colorado. For those who are not able to be here in person, there is a Zoom link, https://western.zoom.us/j/503312619
Organization
The Celebration will be organized in three parts.
3:30 to 4:30 pm Colorado Time
This will be a ceremony oriented toward those who are not able to be present in person. Everyone is invited and welcome to attend, but the organization will be aimed toward the Zoom participants.
4:30 to 5:30 pm Colorado Time
This will be a social opportunity for both distance participants and people present in person to talk, eat, drink and greet each other. The Zoom link will remain open.
5:30 to 6:30 pm Colorado Time
This will be a ceremony oriented toward those who are present in person. Everyone is invited and welcome to attend. The Zoom link will remain open. But the organization will be aimed toward participants present in person.

Everyone who loved Ellen or wants to show respect for her is welcome.
There is no moment at which we need to stop; all are welcome to stay and share their memories even after 6:30

I’m so glad to hear about this. Unfortunately I will be doing a training at 3:30 p.m. that day, but I will join what I can via Zoom. I think of Ellen often and appreciate all she did for all of us.
