Luke is helping Ellen to write a Memoir of her life. It is a lovely project that gives us a chance to explore many memories and moments of happiness.
Would all of you who are able and willing to do so write down some memories of Ellen? When and how did you meet? What was she like? What were some interesting experiences and moments of happiness that you shared together? Want to send an old photograph or two?
This does not have to be complicated or long. It could even be a page or a paragraph. Please do this soon if you would.

He will, as Ellen’s condition allows, read these to her and this will make her happy.

Who knows when I met Ellen, I feel like I’ve known her my whole life, mi hermana 🤸♀️ I suppose we met at work and I immediately fell in love with her accent. Over time her passion for helping others drew me in to her world of immigrantes and I truly enjoyed working with her. She would come bounding down the hallway a little before noon to go to Colorado Fitness and there we shared many workouts, sore muscles, and lots of laughter. One day after an extremely difficult and sweaty workout we lamented on not having any dry underwear to change in to. Just a little while later she appeared in my doorway with a brand new pair of lime green bikini panties that I still have today. I smile every time I open the drawer and see them. I will forever remember “99” when I am tired of abs, our mini triathlon, and our walks and skis with our beloved perritos. I love you Ellen, I miss you and you are in my heart forever 💕

I remember a dinner at your home during Ride the Rockies. Ellen was the perfectly gracious host! And I’ll never forget, and have since used the idea frequently, that she severed a big bowl of salted nuts with dried fruit mixed in for desert. Fue muy sabrosa!

Hola Soy Lucrecia, nos conocimos con Ellen a los 13 años aprox, en la secundaria. En todos estos años recolectamos muchos momentos vividos, pero les comparto uno de nuestros años de escuela.
Stella y yo eramos las UNICAS que nos sabiamos NADA de ingles (hasta el dia de hoy seguimos igual) y ovbiamente Ellen era muy buena en esa materia, por lo que con mucho cuidado que la profesora no nos viera le pasabamos nuestro examenes para que ella nos los hiciera!. Y por ultimo recordar las tardes en su casa en las que Lisbet nos preparaba la ensalada de remolacha y las riquísimas galletas Danesas, mientras ella me explicaba merciologia. Hermosos recuerdos guardados en el corazón!. Besitos! Lucre.
